Commonwealth Plywood Distribution, proud sponsor of this event

On November 8th and 9th, the annual convention for the Association of Manufacturers and Retailers of the Quebec Kitchen Industry (AFDICQ) took place at the luxurious Manoir Richelieu in Charlevoix. This was the 35th edition of the convention and the attendance of 400 people was a record high!

Attendees, who represent the kitchen industry in Quebec, were able to enjoy several activities including an industrial visit to the Simard Kitchen and Bath Facilities as well as to the Laiterie Charlevoix.

This year a workshop was incorporated. Speakers Jasmin Bergeron and Isabelle Fontaine both delivered excellent performance in addition to providing relevant advice and tips to guests.

The President’s Banquet and closing ceremony had a masquerade theme. Participants enjoyed the performance of two groups of musicians: the first being an interpretation from the Phantom of the Opera and the second being a band called Boogie Nights.

Commonwealth Plywood Distribution is a proud member of the AFDICQ. The goal of the association is to promote the development of industries specialized in kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets and woodworking in Quebec while uniting the strengths of its members.
